Rugby’s Six Nations Championship will lead off the dance…
Old school still rocks!
Deep Purple, the band that has made the history of rock, after two years of absence from the stage, will perform on July 22, 2013 at the Hippodromo delle Capannelle here in Rome
There is also a lot of waiting for their new album, their first in eight years since the successful “Rapture of the Deep.” The album recordings have brought the band to close the studio for much of the last year, bringing the painful decision to give up the summer tour of 2012.
The title of the new album has not yet been revealed, but the statements of vocalist Ian Gillan and guitarist Steve Morse suggest a record that will leave a mark. Morse makes it clear that the same could be one of the latest in the band’s studio. The eight years that separate “Rapture of the Deep” allowed the English education to tap into a multitude of material written in this period. Therefore legitimate to expect a work worthy of the best Deep Purple.
