“The Nutcrucker” (“Lo Schiaccianoci”, in Italian) is back in Rome…
The “Roma Chocolate 2013” returns also this year on the banks of the little lake of Eur.
The event, will welcome the many visitors for 4 days from the 11th to the 14th of April 2013. The Entrance to the exhibition is free, you will only have to pay a fee for tastings.
As every year you will find many stands from companies all over Italy: they will present both traditional and new creations, made all with chocolate. You will be able to find many interesting things rangin from hammers, shoes, keys to irons boards, tools of all kind made entirely of chocolate, pralines, everything presented in every conceivable cocholate flavor, from the classic dark, white and milk chocolate to the most peculiar ones like pistachio, cinnamon or ginger. And of course you will also have a waterfall of chocolate from where you can enjoy skewers of strawberries.
This year’s program includes the free workshops for children who will be taught how to make chocolates like real little chefs with lots of caps and tools of the trade, for the adults instead will be offered at a cost of 5 euro tasting chocolate with wine or grappa.
The visit is permitted by the morning until 10 in the evening.
