As always Christmas holidays’ end marks the beginning of Winter sale season. 2015 edition in Rome will be almost one week longer than previous years: launched on January 3, sales’ll last till February 15.
It’s too early to say whether crisis impacts on them, so everything keeps on being set and ready to welcome the crowds that, as the first days show, apparently haven’t renounced to hang around shops.
Rome offers several options for those willing to combine a visit in the Eternal City with the chance to buy branded or casual items at cheaper prices, occasion which occur just twice in a year in Italy: from hot spots in the core areas such as via del Corso (and all little lanes annexed), via Nazionale and via Cola di Rienzo to outlets and shopping malls in the city’s outskirts, the most famous being at Valmontone and at Castelromano. Special buses from Termini station are available for any of these locations and our staff at Hotel Des Artistes won’t forget to provide you with a few hints about where to go first and what to watch out!
