Villa Ada Savoia is situated in the northeastern part of the city, . This property was once the estate of the House of Savoy. Villa Torlonia belongs to the Torlonia family. It was designed by the well known architect, Giuseppe Valadier . It was abandoned for a certain time until Mussolini used it as his state residence for a couple of decades. After 1945, it was again abandoned, until a recent restoration gave back all the beauty to the villa, now open to the public.
